Blade LED Strip - Coral Grow

Are you looking for the coverage of a traditional T5 but efficiency of an LED fixture!  Then look no further!  Aqua Illuminations new Blade LED lighting uses new EdgeFieldTM Optics to deliver superior color mixing and PAR throughout the aquarium.  When used alone, 3 or more Blade lights together will result in less shadowing and a more even light distribution similar to a traditional T5.  The AI Blade can also be used with existing light fixtures to help supplement the spectrum and reduce hotspots.

 

The Coral Grow light has a mixture of blue and white LEDs to deliver a more balanced spectrum to the coral.  The blue spectrum will fulfill most of the photosynthetic needs of the coral and the white will help balance out the spectrum and maximize PAR.  For best performance it is suggested to use a ration of 1:2 Glow to Grow. 

 

Each AI Blade LED Strip has approximately one cluster of LED’s per foot.    Each cluster is made up of 24 diodes as follows:

12 x Royal Blue

6 x Cool White

6 x Blue

 

Lighting Control –

The AI Blade can easily be controlled through any iOS or Android device using either the myAi or Mobius controller apps.  The light can also be controlled using the Neptune Systems MXM module.  This will allow the light to be controlled by the Apex Fusion interface.
